“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14,26 (NKJV)

Sometimes we don’t get it the first time. The meaning of things may not be comprehended at their first mention. Or, we may think we’ve understood and yet we haven’t connected to the real message.

Jesus knew all this; He knew there were things He said that his disciples didn’t understand at that exact moment but that they would understand them later. He further said: “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.” John 16,12(NLT). “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” John 16,13(NKJV)

From the Scriptures above, we see that God is cognizant of our capacity to receive. He gives what we can bear but, at the same time, wishes to expand our capacity.

"Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all." 1 Timothy 4,15 (NKJV)

I want to encourage you to re-read Scriptures: Scriptures that were given to you by God in a particular season or time, after a specific prayer, during fasting, etc. Rewatch or relisten to sermons or teachings. It may not be pleasant to the flesh. You may not feel like it, but it is important. God speaks in many ways and dimensions. We should never reach a place where we resist, grieve or reject the Holy Spirit by refusing to listen; may that never be your story in Jesus’ name.

You may have seen one aspect of the God's plan but you won’t know it’s just one aspect until God shows you more: you need the whole picture! You need the full counsel of God.

In the other case, allow God to confirm His word (2 Corinthians 13,1).

As a matter of fact, God’s will and purposes are always balanced; the message of Jesus: Grace and Truth (John 1,17), on living like Christ: Wisdom and power (1Corinthians 1,24), on loving others: in knowledge and discernment (judgment/understanding) (Philippians 1,9-10), etc.

With God, there is always a level up!

Be established because God wants to elevate you.

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” Hebrews 2,1(NLT)

“For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.” Hebrews 4,2 (KJV)
