“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”

Job 22,28 (NKJV)

One of the benefits of knowing the Word of God and thus knowing God's will is: that person becomes equipped with ammunition to war against the wiles (the tricks) of the devil, our enemy. (Ephesians 6,11-12)

Jesus has already defeated Satan and his cohorts on the cross. And now that you're a child of God, Satan has no power and has no right to take away what God has given you or put on you what Jesus has taken away. However, he will try to make you believe otherwise or make you believe that God will not fulfill His promises. Therein lies our warfare: to attest Jesus' victory.

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth,

And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.”

Proverbs 12,14(NKJV)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,

And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Proverbs 18,21 (NKJV)

The Bible calls the Word of God “the Sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6,17).

The Word of God is your ammunition, the gun is your mouth!

Instead of simply talking about adverse circumstances, speak the Word of God.

Respond to thoughts, words, insinuations, worry, anything that do not align with what God says concerning you. God has given the believers the authority to do so! Speak in Jesus' name!

Jesus said: “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18,18(NKJV)

Certain things don’t need prayer. When you know who you are and what God has given you, you can take authority and speak. Like the psalmist boldly declared: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118,17 (KJV). God has made believers a nation of priests and kings. “...made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5,10(NKJV)

When speaking, the power is not in how loud the person is. The power is in believing the words being spoken.

It can be a whisper to oneself, but it is still powerful to dismantle the deceptions of the enemy and make a change.

“…when the Assyrians invade our land

and march through our fortresses.

We will raise against them seven shepherds,

even eight commanders,

who will rule the land of Assyria with the sword,

the land of Nimrod with drawn sword…” Micah 5,5-6 (NIV)
