Have a secret place

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalms 91,1(NKJV)

The secret place is a place where a person meets with God on a personal level, individually.

It's a place where someone speaks to God and God speaks to them.

This is a place of intimacy with the Creator, a place where relationship with God is deepened.

This is a place of prayer, a place of refreshment, a place of renewal.

It's a place of worship, a place of being acquainted with the Word of God.

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” Matthew 6,5-6(NKJV)

Dedicate a time for God when you wake up, during your day, at the end of your day, everyday.

Make it a habit and a discipline, shutting out all distractions, being mindful that you are in the presence of God, and that God also awaits to hear from you and to speak to you.

This is an invitation to prayer, God’s grace is available for you to receive the words to say and the stillness and patience to wait before Him. “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100,4(KJV)

This place is secret and sacred!

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalms 16,11(NKJV)
